What happened
A certificate used between the customer area and the API expired: its automatic renewal wasn’t monitored.
Who was affected
About a third of accounts couldn’t sign in for 28 minutes. Live sites were not affected.
What we changed
- Every certificate is monitored; an alert goes out 14 days before it expires.
- A full sign-in test runs every 5 minutes.
